SAX AND SONG WITH DON VINO AND MO AT GOOD HOPE FM’S SAAIMAN SAYS LIVE SESSIONS

Chad Saaiman and Good Hope FM, Cape Town’s Original, will be hosting the ‘saxy’ talent of Don Vino and the pure vocal punching power of MO – Monique Amy Herold – with a spectacular free show for the next edition of Saaiman Says Live Sessions on Thursday, 5 October 2023.
The show, which is part of a series that always sees the venue absolutely packed to capacity with fans and vibe, will be taking place live at the SABC Sea Point Auditorium from 19h00 to 20h00.
Don and MO will both be performing pulsating sets, sure to keep the audience at the edge of their seats, and will also be catching up with host, Chad Saaiman, on all the hottest news around their lives and careers.

Don Vino, one of SA’s leading saxophonists, has performed with renowned international acts, including Tevin Campbell, Cece Peniston, Sybil, Robin S, Percy Sledge, Bebe Winans, Jimmy Earl Perry, Gerald Veasly and Kirk Whalum, as well as top local talent like Lloyd Cele, Loyiso Bala, Judith Sephuma, PJ Powers, Lady Smith Black Mambazo, Emo Adams, Loukmaan Adams and Hemelbesem.

He has also performed at major events like the Cape Town International Jazz festival, Super Skouspel, Jazz On The Rocks and Safaricom Jazz Festival, and has toured countries like the U.S.A. London, Sweden, Dubai, Australia, Nigeria and Kenya with various bands and features on numerous albums.

MO, who is 26, is an acclaimed Singer & Songwriter from Cape Town and began singing professionally as a backing vocalist for numerous local artists. For four years, she continued singing, collaborating and experimenting with genres and sounds, which shaped her signature sound today. Her sound echoes with her inspiration from the streets of South Africa.

Cohost of a super popular Youtube channel called “The Herolds”, where they have interviewed the likes of Khaya Mthetwa, HLE and Loyiso Bala, she is also CEO of an auditing firm, as well as her own hair company called ‘Moodyhair by Mo’, and heads of an NPO called the ‘MO Love Project’.
The powerhouse songstress is finally stepping out from behind the curtains and into the spotlight as a solo artist – racking up a massive fan base as far as she goes.
