GOOD HOPE FM SHOOTS FOR GOAL WITH SAXON ROVERS FOOTBALL CLUB 80TH AND THE 2025 CAPE TOWN TYGERBERG KNOCKOUT FINALS

Good Hope FM is thrilled to announce that it’ll be bringing the vibe to Saxon Rovers Football Club – shooting straight for goal in not only bringing Cape Town’s Original and best vibes to the 2025 Tygerberg Local Football Association (CTTLFA) Junior and Senior Knockout Finals, but also celebrating the club’s 80th birthday. This iconic tournament, the crown jewel of the CTTLFA calendar, promises to unite Cape Town’s football-loving communities in a celebration of sport, music, and local culture.

Taking place at the Royal Road Sports Ground in Maitland, the Junior Finals will kick off on Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th of September 2025, followed by the Senior Finals on Saturday, 4 October 2025. With over 2000 spectators expected daily, this event is set to be a vibrant community festival, marking the culmination of Saxon Rovers FC’s 80th Anniversary celebrations.

Good Hope FM will be bringing the energy with live outside broadcasts at the tournament – with all your favourite presenters at the beautiful game:

• Saturday, 27 September will feature The Hit 30 with Danilo Acquisto from 09h00
to 12h00 and The Matinee with Garth B from 12h00 to 15h00.
• Sunday, 28 September will see Cape Town Original Sundaze with Irma G from
09h00 to 12h00 and Peadon Smith from 12h00 to 15h00.
• Saturday, 4 October will have The Hit 30 and The Matinee return for the Senior
Finals.
