GOOD HOPE FM BRINGS FAGRIE ISAACS AND CARLETHEIA TO THE GHOEMA THEATRE WITH “SAAIMAN SAYS LIVE SESSIONS ON THE GO”

Good Hope FM, Cape Town’s Original, has seen overwhelming support for Saaiman Says Live Sessions on the GO, and the second instalment sees the super talented Carletheia and South Africa’s very own Luther, Fagrie Isaacs, joining Chad Saaiman at the Ghoema Theatre in Bo-Kaap on 29 August for a night of stellar entertainment!

Saaiman Says Live Sessions on the GO is an electrifying, hour-long music showcase, spotlighting a blend of emerging talents and established artists, and Good Hope FM is now bringing it right to your doorstep. Carletheia and Fagrie will be performing all their hottest hits and will also be chatting with Chad to give the audience all the newest inside info on their music, lives and careers.

Fagrie was the lead singer for Cape Town’s biggest and most loved boy band, The Boyz, for many years and was also the lead male vocalist for the Cape Carnival album. He performed as vocalist for “HERE and NOW – The Luther Vandross Tribute Concert”, working with award-winning musical director Charlton Daniels in presenting an event that soared to unparallelled heights. He also took the lead with UNITY – the headline act for five (5) years at the Al Ansaar Souk at the Durban ICC – the biggest souk in the Southern hemisphere hosting over 350 000 people over six (6) days. They toured the UK after releasing their debut album
called In Love and War, where he wrote and composed most of the songs featured on the album.

He was invited to join the Cape Malay Stars who were, in turn, invited to perform in New York at the iconic Carnegie Hall at the South African Ubuntu Festival in 2014. Fagrie has established himself as the unparalleled TOP prize winner for the Kaapse Klopse Coon song category, boasting an astonishing 22 first prize awards – the highest record ever achieved. Hailing from a household of classical musicians who gifted her with a love for Jazz,Pop, and Gospel music, Carletheia is making massive waves on the SA music scene. Her current single “I’ll Always Be There,” was written and produced by 5X Grammy Award winning R&B artist and Maroon 5 keyboardist PJ Morton.

An opening slot on PJ’s, a highly successful fund raiser for Tygerberg Hospital and a robust TikTok following have seen Carletheia grow her base far beyond her homeland, and she frequently hosts live sessions where she sings and takes requests from her supporters.
She recently performed at the famed Sanctuary Mandela where South African President Nelson Mandela once lived after he was released from political exile. A rising star with tons of personality and an amazing voice, Carletheia has some serious what to watch status!
