Good Hope FM, Cape Town’s Original, is taking your favourite live music show on the road – bringing some of your favourite artists right to your doorstep!
Saaiman Says Live Sessions on the GO is an electrifying, hour-long music showcase, spotlighting a blend of emerging talents and established artists, and the first session will see Suidoosterfees winner and Lexus Pop Classics songstress, Talitha Ruiters and sizzling funk, hip-hop & rap duo, 3FACE & CEE, taking to stage at Joseph Stone Auditorium, Athlone, on 25 July 2024 from 19h00 to 20h00.
They’ll be performing all their hottest original hits and smashing covers – bringing the vibe that has seen them packing venues all over SA to drive away the winter blues. They’ll also be having a chat with firm crowd favourite Good Hope FM host, Chad Saaiman – giving the audience the big scoop on all the latest news in their lives and careers.
Talitha started singing at the age of three years old and started making massive waves at the tender age of 9. She won the Suidoosterfees singing competition in 2018 – something that opened massive doors for her to share the stage with the likes of Karin Kortje, Emo Adams, Jarrad Ricketts, Jonathan Rubain, Craig Lucas and Che-V, to name a few, and even sing the South African National Anthem in Parliament on live TV.
She also featured at Lexus Pop Classics in 2023 at the Sunbet Arena in Pretoria, blowing away the crowd with her rendition of the Celine Dion megahit, “All by myself”, again sharing the stage with greats like Tarryn Lamb, Corlea Botha, Demi Lee Moore and the Mzansi Youth Choir.
Currently a full-time student at CPUT, Talitha still pursues even bigger heights in her music career.
3FACE & CEE aren’t your average, by-the-book hip-hop duo. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, musical soulmates Joshua “3FACE” Eagles and Cedrik “CEE” Aberle bring a unique, genre-bending approach to their self-described intergalactic sound.
Coming together professionally in 2016, the “yin and yang” of their creative relationship uplifts their evolving artistry. The vocal contrast – coupled with their ethereal yet melodic sound on songs like 2020’s “Higher with You”, and their disco hit “Revive” that landed on the soundtrack of local Netflix show ‘Blood & Water‘ – has propelled the duo’s local popularity, rocking Broke Klubhouse, The Waiting Room, Lentedag, Hunter’s X JCH, Die Lapa, The Shack, Mercury and many more.
Now they’re setting their sights on growing a global fan base, and have been collaborating with award-winning producers D’Mile (H.E.R., Bruno Mars and Silk Sonic, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Lucky Daye and others), Larrance “Rance” Dopson, from the legendary 1500 or Nothin’ (Bruno Mars, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and Saweetie) and J.R. Rotem (Jason Derulo, Gwen Stefani, 50 Cent, Rihanna, Paris Hilton, Rick Ross, Britney Spears, Leona Lewis, Sean Kingston and others).
Good Hope FM and 5FM PCS Combo Business Manager, Masixole Mdingane, says, “This is one of many ways in which we aim to deepen our connection with Capetonians through local music and create powerful, face-to-face engagement opportunities for our clients. This year we will be taking Saaiman Says Live Sessions to places such as Joseph Stone Auditorium, the Ghoema Theatre and Roxy Revue Bar to create a truly Cape Town’s original experience.”
Saaiman Says Live Sessions on the GO takes all the on-air magic of Good Hope FM, all your favourite artists and tunes, and takes them on the road to YOU! It’s the one show you do NOT want to miss!
Entrance to the event is free, but due to high demand, booking is essential. Download the Good Hope FM app or e-mail marketing@goodopefm.co.za and RSVP to reserve your spot.
The event will also be broadcasted live on air and streamed online.
