Good Hope FM and 7de Laan Matric Farewell Outfit Campaign
Good Hope FM and 7de Laan has partnered to help create a matric farewell outfit for one matric girl and one matric boy! If you know of a matriculant who cannot afford an outfit to attend their matric farewell between September and December 2023, you should e-mail a motivation and tell us why they deserve an outfit, tailormade by 7de Laan’s wardrobe department. Remember to include their name and surname, and the name and address of their school, as well as the date of their matric dance. Your e-mail motivation must be sent to competition@goodhopefm.co.za to reach us by 4 July 2023.
The lucky recipients will be announced live on air on Monday, 11 July.

In addition to all standard Good Hope FM Competition rules and regulations the following Terms and Conditions apply
- The Matric Farewell of the person/s who are nominated must take place between September 2023 – December 2023.
- The individual who nominates a matriculant must get the nominated person’s permission to share their motivational story. By submitting the nomination, the nominating person agrees that Good Hope FM as well as Danie Odendaal Productions (7de Laan) may share any relevant information about the Matric farewell project on their social media platforms.
- An individual may not nominate themselves. The cost uncured for attire of the partner of the person being nominated is for their own accord.
- The 2 individuals selected (one matric boy and one matric girl) must send all their information and measurements within 3 days after the announcement on 11 July 2023, as requested by 7de Laan with the framework sent to them.
- If the end product/outfit, with the dimensions sent, is not correct, it is the individual’s responsibility to correct it at their own expense.
- Danie Odendaal Productions (7de Laan) owns the right to choose the 2 final individuals at their own discretion.
- The value of each outfit will not exceed R5000 in totality.
- The motivational letter can only be sent to the given e-mail address, competition@goodhopefm.co.za, any other entries on other platforms will therefore not be valid or considered.
- Entries received after closing date on 4 July will not be considered.
- The motivation must be accompanied by the nominee’s name, surname, ID number and contact number and the name and address of the matriculant’s school.
- Parental consent will be requested for any nominees under the age of 18 years in order for them to qualify as a valid entrant.
- The names of the one matric boy and one matric girl who will receive custom made outfits for their matric farewell will be announced on The Morning Show with Leigh-Anne Williams on Tuesday, 11 July 2023 and will also be posted on all station and 7de Laan social media platforms.
- By participating in the project, entrants agree that they will be held responsible under the terms and conditions.
