GOOD HOPE FM PRESENTER SEARCH 2026 Terms and Conditions – Entries and Deadlines

The Good Hope FM Presenter Search 2026 is conducted by Good Hope FM, a division of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC).

By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

1.1 The competition is open to South African citizens residing in South Africa who are 18 years or older.

1.2 Employees of Good Hope FM, the SABC, associated agencies, sponsors, contractors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

1.3 Entrants must be able to attend in-person auditions in Cape Town and be available for all competition stages if selected.

1.4 Entrants must be willing to relocate or travel for training opportunities should they be selected as the winner.

2. Entry Process

2.1 Entries for the Good Hope FM Presenter Search 2026 open on 3 March 2026.

2.2 Entries must be submitted via the Good Hope FM mobile app (iOS or Android).

2.3 Entrants must complete the required entry form and submit all requested information.

2.4 Only one entry per person will be accepted.

2.5 Any incomplete, incorrect, or fraudulent entries may be disqualified at the discretion of Good Hope FM.

3. Entry Deadline

3.1 Entries will close at 23:59 (midnight) on 11 March 2026.

3.2 Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances.

3.3 Only entrants who successfully submit their entry via the official platform before the deadline will be considered.

3.4 Walk-in registrations or on-the-day entries will not be permitted.

4. Audition Process

4.1 Selected entrants will be invited to attend live auditions on 14 March 2026.

4.2 Auditions will take place at the SABC Auditorium in Sea Point, Cape Town.

4.3 Auditions will be hosted by Kyeezi from The Great Drive.

4.4 During the audition process, judges will select a Top 10 contestants.

4.5 The Top 10 will deliver a music or lifestyle radio link to determine the Top 5 finalists.

5. Judging Panel

Entrants will be evaluated by a judging panel consisting of:

  • Good Hope FM Station Management

  • Leigh Anne Williams – The Morning Show

  • Roger Goode – The Roger Goode Breakfast

  • Celest Anthony – The Great Drive

  • Carissa Cupido – The Lunch Club

5.1 The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Competition Timeline

  • Entries Open: 2 March 2026

  • Entries Close: 11 March 2026 (midnight)

  • Live Auditions: 14 March 2026

  • Top 5 Announcement: 16 March 2026

  • On-air Interviews: 16 – 19 March 2026 on The Great Drive

  • Grand Finale: 20 March 2026 at the SABC Sea Point Auditorium

7. Finale

7.1 The Top 5 finalists will compete in a live on-air finale on 20 March 2026.

7.2 The finale will take place during The Great Drive live broadcast.

7.3 Finalists will perform a final on-air challenge in front of a live audience.

7.4 The winner will be announced live during the event.

8. Prize

The winner of the Good Hope FM Presenter Search 2026 will receive:

  • Professional radio training by industry professionals

  • R5 000 cash prize

  • Tiger’s Milk voucher valued at R3 000

  • Good Hope FM branded merchandise

8.1 The runner-up will receive a selection of Good Hope FM promotional items.

8.2 Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where cash is explicitly stated.

9. Media and Publicity

9.1 The competition journey will be covered on Good Hope FM’s radio broadcasts and social media platforms.

9.2 By entering the competition, entrants consent to:

  • Being recorded

  • Being photographed

  • Appearing on radio, social media, television or digital platforms

9.3 Entrants grant Good Hope FM and the SABC the right to use their name, voice, image and likeness for promotional purposes.

10. General Competition Rules

10.1 All Good Hope FM competitions are conducted in accordance with Section 54 (1) of the Lotteries Amendment Act (46 of 2001).

10.2 Good Hope FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates competition rules.

10.3 Good Hope FM reserves the right to cancel, postpone or amend the competition if circumstances beyond its control arise.

10.4 The judges’ decision is final and binding.

10.5 Good Hope FM may amend these Terms and Conditions at its discretion.

11. Data Protection

11.1 By entering the competition, entrants consent to Good Hope FM collecting and processing their personal information for the purposes of administering the competition.

11.2 Personal information will be handled in accordance with SABC privacy policies.

12. Acceptance of Terms

12.1 By submitting an entry, entrants confirm that they:

  • Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions

  • Agree to comply with all competition rules

  • Meet all eligibility requirements
