Mmmm....another glorious day in Cape Town today!

21 degrees the high in Cape Town today, and ..dare I say it ...it ALMOST feels like winter could be leaving us, but alas it looks like rain is on the way!

We need to remember that while most of us are warm and dry in winter there are MANY, MANY folk in Cape Town that live in poverty and don't know where their next meal will be coming from, and can't sleep properly because their makeshift houses are damp and extremely cold. :(

So Good Hope FM is trying to create a little awareness around this pandemic as we try to "Keep Cape Town Warm"!

Nigel and the team will be broadcasting LIVE from the Athlone police station tomorrow morning between 06:00 and 09:00 as we do just this! Keep Cape Town warm! Any warm clothes and blankets are most welcome and very much appreciated!

If you can't make it out to the team tomorrow, you can drop off your blankets and clothes at ANY ABSA branch or alternatively at our HQ - SABC, 209 Beach Road Seapoint. Thank you Cape Town!

In other show news Knobbo decided to paint his ...umm ...TOENAILS to copy Christiano Ronaldo, so we did just that! Sandra hesitantly agreed to paint his one toenail and then Brandon took a turn to do another! Lol!

I just HAD to get this on film, so the video will be up very shortly!

Tomorrow Knobbo will be out and about parading his new, PINK, toenails! Lol!
