Dalin Oliver is a Cape Town based comedian who dons the hat of sports presenter on the Good Hope FM's Breakfast Show hosted by Dan Corder, weekdays 6am to 9am

Dalin’s passion for the performance arts was triggered in 2010 when he won the UCT leg of Good Hope FM’s Campus DJ Search. A few months later the comedy bug bit and the former high school mathematics and history teacher from Retreat  ditched the chalk board for a microphone and the stage. Dalin manages to capture audiences with his clean cut energetic brand of comedy that has been described as easily accessible, nostalgic and diverse in the best kind of way.

Career highlights include being featured on Comedy Central Africa, writing, producing and performing three one man shows, producing and releasing his DVD for his debut one man show I Came, I Taught I Left, making his big screen debut in cinemas nationwide as one of the lead actors in SA action comedy Finders Keepers, and being one of the featured acts at the Jive Cape Town Funny Festival as well as being the opening act for industry stalwarts such as Riaad Moosa, Barry Hilton, Stuart Taylor and Nik Rabinowitz.

2018 led to an exciting new project where had the pleasure of collaborating and touring the country with fellow Comedians Yaaseen Barnes, Carl Weber and Kagiso Mokgadi in one of the hottest four man stand-up comedy shows of the  year; Day Zero: The Water Shortage Tour.

Dalin is not only a familiar voice to mother city locals on Good Hope FM, he is fast becoming a familiar face as one of the rising stars on the South African Comedy scene.
