Yonda was born in the Eastern Cape and raised in Cape Town. Upon finishing her studies in Graphic Designing at the Stellenbosch Academic of Design & Photography, she spent a year in the field of designing when she discovered her other passion…Radio

She started her radio career at Cape Town’s local Radio Station, Bush Radio where she hosted the breakfast show, there after she moved to Johannesburg where she joined youth Radio Station, YFM to produce and co-hosted a weekday show from 18:00 to 21:00.

Back in Cape Town she is fulfilling one of her biggest dreams, being a part of the Good Hope FM family. When not hosting her show, Yonda does voice overs for both TV and Radio, having worked with some big brands like Superbalist, Renault, Halls, Hungry Lion, Volkswagen. Another dream on het hit list is to also one day work in television.

You can catch Yonda every Sunday morning on Good Hope FM, hosting her show, High Tide from 09:00 to 12:00
