Criteria or entrants will be as follows:

Entrants must be a student registered at the relevant tertiary institution;
They must have a broad general knowledge;
They must have a radio-friendly voice;
They must be articulate and a good communicator;
They must have a sense a humour;
They must be entertaining to listen to;
They must be able to take a stand, have a personal opinion and be able to defend/share their own views;
They must make themselves available to co-host a show with Ebrahiem Inglis during the final leg of the competition in order to be considered as a winner ;
Finalist must agree to be used in any publicity opportunities for Good Hope FM and this competition ;
Judges decision is final;
Not transferable .

u guys were at my campus today...since i herad about it i wanted to enter(its been advertised on ghfm for so long),i couldnt wait.but registeringa nd the actual competition was during my classes and i could not leave...i find it so unfare as ghfm didnt expereince CPUT's real talent and as i girl with a great radio husky voice and awenesssss personality feel that I lost out on a super oppertunity due to me having to be in class...is there no way i can enter befor ethe finals on the 22nd? lady sam...

Great competiton but think this is SO UNFAIR that you guys have it running only for students what about the REAL TALENT thats out there but did not have the funds to become a student in that field, im just saying being one of those PPL all the best with the competition but think it would have been much bigger and better attention to Good Hope Fm if it was done in another manner than students ( just think about it how many ppl end up doing the field that they are studying ????????????? Just a Q use is, dont use it.

o my goodness first round gone down, went very well for me three yeses from the judges, gosh and the crowd absolutly loved me that was an experience and a hlf didnt think id have such a presence.
